An Iranian volunteer combatant has been killed in Iraq in fight with Takfiri ISIL militants.
Mehdi Norouzi was killed on Saturday night while defending holy shrines in the Iraqi city of Samarra.
“Last night (Saturday night), Mehdi Norouzi embraced martyrdom…in a direct firefight with members of the terrorist ISIL group,”
“He had left for Iraq to defend the holy shrines there and defend the oppressed Iraqi nation against the terrorist mercenaries of ISIL,”
